Monarch Beauty Farm is an urban flower farm nestled in the Lincoln Square neighborhood in Chicago’s northside. We grow a variety of specialty cut flowers ecologically in sustainable urban gardens. Our flowers are available almost year-round through our CSA subscription model, retail partners, workshops, markets and through a-la-carte orders.

Our Story

Maru’s cut flower journey began at her first job after college. She learned about flowers, varieties, post-harvest and logistics.

We have gotten a lot of rain in the last few days.

We have gotten a lot of rain in the last few days. Hydrangeas absorb water through their blooms, which makes them very heavy after rainfall.

We recently helped a neighbor with gardening services for their large and mature Annabelle hydrangea bush. We did some thinning to avoid breakages, botrytis (fungal damage), and to improve aeration, and overall aesthetics.

We offer bartering on a case by case basis.These blooms will be added to our CSA bouquets this week. Aren’t they gorgeous?
